- Padel RULES
- Padel is always played in doubles (4 players).
- The field is 20ร10 meters, divided into two playing halves with a net in the middle.
- The ball may be played through the walls, but not directly against the fence before it bounces.
- The scoring is the same as in tennis: 15, 30, 40 and game.
- At 40-40 (deuce), a golden point is played. Whoever wins this point wins the game.
- During the tournament, the countdown is in games and not in sets.
- The serve must be hit underhand and may be hit at maximum hip height.
- The ball must first bounce behind the service line before being hit.
- The serve must land diagonally in the opponentโs service box.
- The ball may hit the wall after the bounce, but not directly the fence (otherwise foul service).
- If the service hits the net edge and lands correctly in the service box, it is played over.
- The ball may bounce a maximum of once before being returned.
- Volleys are allowed, except for the return on service.
- The ball may be returned via the wall after the bounce.
- The ball may not touch the fence before going over the net.
- If the ball is hit via the court over the wall (4m) or fence (3m), this is a point unless the opponent plays it back outside the cage.
- On a foul service, the player gets a second chance.
- A rally ends if the ball bounces twice, lands outside the lines, or the rules are otherwise violated.
